I am Kankawee Nilthajan, a Thai composer and sound designer passionate about crafting music that transforms images into emotional experiences. I create sound and music that evoke both place and feeling, inviting audiences into worlds that are at once intimate and universal, exploring themes of identity, memory, spirituality, and human connection, using sound as a storytelling language that speaks beyond words. Whether composing for animation, film, or interactive media, I seek to create sound and music that resonates emotionally while reflecting a distinct cultural perspective.
I am the winner of the Crystal Pine Award for Best Trailer Music at the 14th International Sound and Film Music Festival in Varaždin, Croatia. My work has also been recognized internationally as an official selection at Global Music Awards 2026, Venezia Shorts Italy 2026, Top Shorts 2025, Red Movie Award 2025, Oniros Film Award 2025, AIMAFF 2025, Global Best Creative Awards 2025, SiamAnima 2025 and many more.
