Something strange is happening at the tiny coffin shop in town… and the owner’s son is definitely not okay with it. Late nights get creepier, deliveries get weirder, and unseen “customers” start causing the kind of chaos that no salary could ever justify.
He delivers the coffins. They deliver chaos… and zero tips!
Welcome to the "Peace Delivery" — A job from hell. A chaotic mission that delivers more than just a coffin!
Brief & Inspiration
The musical identity of Peace Delivery was inspired by a desire to celebrate and reinterpret Thai culture through a contemporary animated storytelling format. Rather than treating traditional music as a purely historical reference, I wanted to create a score that felt alive, playful, and emotionally connected to modern audiences while remaining deeply rooted in Thai identity.

To achieve this, I drew inspiration from the rich musical traditions of Northeastern Thailand (Isan), particularly Mor Lam music. Traditional instruments such as the Khaen and Phin became central elements of the score, providing a distinctive sonic palette that immediately evokes a sense of place, culture, and character. Their expressive timbres allowed me to capture both the warmth and eccentricity of the world inhabited by the story's characters.

Alongside these traditional influences, I incorporated elements of Thai rock music, energetic rhythm sections, and melodic gestures inspired by Thai folk and popular music. This fusion created a unique musical language that reflects the film's unusual balance of supernatural mystery and dark comedy. The score constantly shifts between tension and humour, transforming moments of fear into moments of surprise and amusement, while maintaining an underlying sense of mystery.

A key creative challenge was representing the concept of "delivery" itself—not as a mundane task, but as an unpredictable journey through a world where the ordinary and the supernatural coexist. Through driving rhythms, playful instrumental interactions, and sudden changes in texture, the music supports this sense of movement and discovery. At the same time, atmospheric layers and haunting melodic fragments hint at the unseen forces surrounding the protagonist, creating an ever-present feeling of mystery.

Ultimately, the soundtrack aims to offer an authentic Thai voice within contemporary animation. By blending traditional Isan musical heritage with modern rock influences and cinematic storytelling techniques, I sought to create a musical experience that is simultaneously humorous, spooky, energetic, and unmistakably Thai.
